The Kraft Heinz Co. announced a new goal in 2023 to reduce the use of virgin plastic in its global packaging portfolio by 20 percent by 2030.

Brands will transition packaging to 100-percent recycled content in the United States beginning in 2024, in an effort to eliminate approximately 14 million pounds of virgin plastic.
PACK EXPO, the most comprehensive packaging and processing event in North America, is set to return to the Las Vegas Convention Center from Sept. 11 to 13.
The certification means all Tellus plant fiber products meet the rigorous third-party standards set by BPI, the leading third-party verifier of ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) standards for compostable products in North America, Tellus stated.
