This month, there is plenty of interesting news to report in the ice cream category.

The brand is building a team of "Halo Top Athletes" and offering them a $5K endorsement deal and plenty of Halo Top ice cream to stock their freezer and fuel their resolution journey.

Products available at Safeway, Albertsons, ACME, Jewel-Osco, Shaw's and Vons, beginning this month.

Cherry Garcia garners the No. 2 spot.

The 30-second spot will air on Sunday, Feb. 11 during the game’s third quarter and the brand is giving an early “taste” of what’s to come. 

Potato chips and root beer are among the ingredients.

Cleveland, Ohio-based Pierre’s Ice Cream invites consumers to meet the company’s newest winter flavor — Cinnamon Ice Cream. The  recipe blends just the right amount of ground cinnamon for the perfect taste and is a delightful complement to any winter dessert.

The co-located event will take place at the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort in Clearwater, Florida. 

In terms of ice cream and frozen novelty sales, matching a “Super Bowl champion”-level performance like those of the Chiefs’ quarterback Patrick Mahomes in 2020 and 2023, which occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic for ice cream, when consumers sought a home indulgence, is difficult to replicate.
