In celebration of National Dairy Month, Rosemont, Ill.-based Dairy Management Inc. (DMI) and state and regional checkoff teams around the country will be showcasing dairy’s resilience and community impact during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The House is expected vote on the legislative package on May 15.

Michael Dykes, D.V.M., president and CEO of the Washington, D.C.-based International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA), released a statement on May 14 on the Recourse Loan Program for Commercial Processors of Dairy Products in the HEROES Act legislation.
On May 12, Reps. Glenn “GT” Thompson (Pa.-15) and Dwight Evans (Pa.-03) introduced the “Assistance and Gratitude for Coronavirus Heroes in Agribusiness who are Invaluable to the Nation,” or the AG CHAIN Act.
In a May 6 letter to Wisconsin Dairy Product Association (WDPA) members, WDPA Executive Director Brad Legreid said the association’s board decided to reschedule the 2020 Dairy Symposium because of the coronavirus crisis.
