So Delicious Dairy Free, a brand of Broomfield, Colo.- and White Plains, N.Y.-based Danone North America, unveiled a new line of “creamy, dreamy” dairy-free frozen desserts that are so good, consumers won’t believe they’re not from a cow, the brand says.
While traditional animal-derived dairy remains a popular consumer choice, producers are now faced with an exciting opportunity to capitalize on the growing popularity of vegan, vegetarian and flexitarian diets that are driving demand for plant-based dairy alternatives.
The dairy- and nondairy-based products support children’s development.

KidzProtein dairy shake mixes come in Chocolate, Vanilla, and Strawberry varieties, the company says, while KidzProtein Vegan shake mixes are offered in Chocolate and Vanilla flavors.
The offerings include two yogurt products and one dairy alternative.

Oui by Yoplait, a French-style yogurt brand of Minneapolis-based General Mills, says it released three limited-edition spring flavors inspired by favorite spring and summer beverages.
The new flavors feature extracts such as elderberry, ginger and turmeric and chamomile.

To date, the program has prevented more than 337,000 tons of soil from erosion, resulting in nearly $3.3 million in cost avoidance for farmer partners who supply brands such as Oikos, Two Good and Horizon Organic.
