The USDA has issued a call for nominations to serve on the board of the National Fluid Milk Processor Promotion Board (also known as MilkPEP). Nominees for the regional positions must be active owners or employees of a fluid milk processor.
CEO Julia Kadison says the group will work ‘more aggressively to come out against the milk naysayers’ and it will aid dairy processors in telling milk’s protein story.

The Milk Processor Education Program has appointed Julia Kadison as Chief Executive Officer. She held the position of Interim CEO/Vice President of Marketing for MilkPEP, following the resignation of Vivian Godfrey in November 2013.
The awards program showcases processors’ successes in implementing MilkPEP’s two occasion-based strategies, Breakfast at Home and Refuel with Chocolate Milk.
