Sargento Vice President of Total Rewards Sherri Samuels-Fuerst has announced her intent to retire in the Spring of 2025. Succeeding Samuels-Fuerst in this role is Steve Dunman (pictured), an accomplished human resources professional with more than 20 years of experience. 

The Sargento Total Rewards Program offers a comprehensive approach to employee compensation and benefits, focusing on many facets of wellbeing including physical, emotional, and financial health. In his new role Dunman will lead the program and build upon the foundation that Sherri set for the Sargento Family of employees during her dedicated career.

Dunman brings more than two decades of expertise in human resources strategy and operations to Sargento. Prior to joining Sargento in 2024, Steve served in a variety of progressive human resource leadership roles at Comcast Corporation, HSBC Financial Corp. and Davidson Homes LLC. 

Sherri Samuels-Fuerst joined Sargento in 1994 and has served in a range of roles within the human resources department and as an Occupational Health Nurse. Combining her passion for employee wellness with her expertise in healthcare, Sherri spearheaded the creation of an on-site health and wellness centers. She also led the development of the Total Rewards program, transforming it into a strategic asset for the company. Under her leadership, the program achieved industry-leading recognition and will continue to provide exceptional benefits for employees after her departure.
