Delkor Systems to move to new building; Bosch Packaging and Nexira open offices in India

Delkor Systems, a maker of cartoning, case packing and robotic packaging equipment, is moving to a newly built 114,000-square-foot facility in St. Paul, Minn. The building was designed to accommodate up to 250 employees and provide a state-of-the-art engineering and manufacturing capability. Delkor serves customers in North America, South America, Australia and New Zealand.
Bosch Packaging Technology India opened a manufacturing facility at Verna, Goa, India.
Natural and innovative ingredients supplier Nexira is opening its 11th subsidiary in Mumbai, India.
FMC Corp., Philadelphia, in August, said it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the business assets of Pectine Italia SpA, an Italian-based manufacturer of pectin for the food ingredients market. The closing is expected to be completed by year end. Pectine Italia's pectin is based primarily on peels from lemons grown near its plant in Milazzo, on the island of Sicily. This pectin business will become part of FMC BioPolymer, a business unit within FMC’s Specialty Chemicals Division.
Urschel Laboratories Inc., Valparaiso, Ind., launched a new English website (www.urschel.com), said to be an informative resource for food processors to research the different cutting machines available for a wide range of product applications.
Burkert Fluid Control Systems, Irvine, Calif., introduced an e-commerce website (www.BuyBurkert.com) for the most requested Burkert items.
