This campaign, named "Get Real Inc.," marks a significant departure from the digital and virtual world's ever-increasing influence and strives to bring people closer to what is real in an age dominated by technology and artificiality.
The sustainability finish line has been set: climate and carbon neutrality. The end zone seems to be within reach. The California dairy sector is on target to reach its methane-reduction goals and ultimately reach climate neutrality by 2030.
A larger funding opportunity will begin in January 2024.

The Pacific Coast Coalition Dairy Business Initiative (PCC-DBII), hosted by California State University, Fresno, will award funding to dairy producers and processors in California, Oregon, and Washington who want to become more innovative in today’s industry.
The study looks at how implementation of methane reduction strategies can reduce California dairy's atmospheric warming contributions.

The study also concludes the California dairy sector could reach climate neutrality — contributing no additional warming to the atmosphere — as soon as 2027.

Yee joins the CMAB with more than 20 years of experience at Safeway/Albertsons Companies where he held a wide range of leadership positions including Assistant Store Manager, Business Process Analyst, Category Analyst, Sourcing Manager, Senior Brand Manager, Senior Product Manager, and most recently Product Manager overseeing dairy categories.
The grants are the first in the $1.8 million DBII award from the USDA.
