Deepti P Karumathil, Ph.D., CFS, CFSM, serves as reseach and development (R&D) manager for the Dairy Division at H-E-B, San Antonio, Texas. Deepti leads the development and launching of new products, including fermented and ultra-filtered dairy products. She is a proud recipient of Product of the Year for 2020 and 2022, and was honored with H-E-B’s Innovation Award in 2021. She has more than 15 years of experience in the fields of Dairy and Food Science. Additionally, Deepti has been an active member of IFT since 2012 and is a contributor within IFT’s Dairy Foods Division.
