Citing input from event exhibitors, members and the board of directors representing the industry, the International Dairy Deli Bakery Association (IDDBA) announced the decision to cancel this year’s event.
The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has many consumers reaching for small indulgences to brighten their days. That reality has been a boon to the frozen novelties category, which Chicago-based market research firm IRI breaks into three subcategories: frozen novelties, ice cream/ice milk desserts and ice pop novelties.
The platform’s six indulgent flavors were inspired by the brand’s original Rocky Road flavor.

Edy’s and Dreyer’s, brands of Oakland, Calif.-based Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream Inc., said they unveiled the Rocky Road Collection, which features six decadent flavors loaded with delicious and indulgent mix-ins.
The cooperative’s rigorous quality standards extend to not only its own plant operations, but also its process for auditing suppliers and co-manufacturers.

Edwardsville, Ill.-based Prairie Farms Dairy Inc. said it is celebrating the 55th iteration of America’s biggest game by offering 10 Days of “Super Dairy Prizes” to dozens of lucky winners.
Last year was a monumental one for the world, and a newsworthy one for Tillamook County Creamery Association, too. The Tillamook, Ore.-based cooperative became a Certified B Corporation, donated $4 million dollars to a COVID-19 relief fund and partnered with the American Farmland Trust to help secure farmland for future generations.
