Andy and Tony Caridis, Heat and Control founder and president, respectively, were inducted into the SNAC International Circle of Honor for their outstanding contributions to the association and to the snack industry.
During the SNAXPO 2025 Keynote Session held on March 31 in Orlando, Fla., the father-and-son leaders were inducted into the elite circle in front of fellow distinguished leaders in the snack industry. The Circle of Honor awards program launched in 1994 to recognize the achievements of snack food executives who have significantly contributed to the development and the growth of their companies, the association, and the snack food industry.
“I’m flattered. it’s really an honor,” declared Andy Caridis.
The father/son duo work side-by-side, as they have for decades, and the family-owned company continues to press forward to explore opportunities to uplift employees, to satisfy customers, and to build meaningful partnerships.
“Our motto is progress through innovation, and that is our passion. We like to innovate and to do things differently than what’s been done before,” explained Tony Caridis. “That’s what’s kept us in business for 75 years, and it’ll continue to keep us in business.”
“Heat and Control’s past, with my father paving the way, prepared an outlook for an exciting future,” added Caridis. “One of the philosophies we have is better and better is better than best. Whenever you say you’re the best at any one thing, you kind of lose that incentive to get better. So, we’re always striving. We take on challenges that seem impossible.”
