Philadelphia-based Oatly introduced two new flavors to its line of plant-based ice cream: Banana Split Frozen Dessert Pint and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Frozen Dessert Pint.
The new flavors add to Oatly's extended line of other dessert pint flavors like Fudge Brownie, Salted Caramel, Raspberry Swirl, Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, Coffee, and Mint Chip. The company also has mini pints in Vanilla and Chocolate.
Tapping into nostalgia, Oatly’s new non-dairy desserts are:
Banana Split Frozen Dessert: Okay, sometimes nostalgia isn’t really that satisfying, like when pretty much any show you loved growing up decides to do a reboot. But sometimes nostalgia can be very satisfying, like when, say, an oatmilk company puts a new spin on everyone’s favorite classic ice cream shop treat by skipping the cow altogether and combining banana and strawberry with a chocolate fudge swirl in one non-dairy frozen dessert.
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Frozen Dessert: They said we couldn’t make a non-dairy, gluten-free chocolate chip cookie dough frozen dessert that tastes as good as if it were neither non-dairy nor gluten-free, and if you’re like “Wait, who’s ‘they’?” well, then, we’ll just say it’s pretty cool that this amazing product exists.
Oatly’s Banana Split and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough flavors are available at retailers nationwide for a suggested retail price of $4.99 for a 16-ounce pint.
