Nestlé USA, Arlington, Va., added functional creamers to its Coffee-mate Natural Bliss brand. The two new functional offerings are made with a blend of oat “milk” and almond “milk,” plus ingredients such as inulin, pea protein and MCT Oil. The creamers come in Vanilla with prebiotic fiber and Sweet Almond with 5 grams of protein and MCT oil, Natural Bliss said.
Natural Bliss’ Vanilla offering contains 3 grams of fiber per 4-tablespoon serving. The creamer’s prebiotic fiber comes from inulin, a vegetable fiber extracted from the chicory root, Natural Bliss said. The Sweet Almond creamer provides 5 grams of plant-based protein per 4-tablespoon serving. This creamer’s plant-based protein comes from peas and oats. Both creamers are available in a 28-ounce bottle that has a suggested retail price of $5.49.
The brand said it also introduced two other plant-based creamers: Almond Sweet Crème almond “milk” creamer and Brown Sugar oat “milk” creamer. The two offerings come in 32-ounce containers and have a suggested retail price of $5.49.
