Serendipity Brands, New York, announced two new additions to its product lineup — superpremium ice cream cakes and Serendipity sundae cups. These are the first of many planned “novelty” product line expansions, Serendipity said.
Serendipity’s ice cream cakes are available in two of the brand’s most popular flavors currently offered in pints — Frrrozen Hot Chocolate and Birthday Cake. The Frrrozen Hot Chocolate is hot chocolate-flavored ice cream, a whipped cream swirl and chocolate shavings. Meanwhile, the Birthday Cake flavor is cake-flavored ice cream, swirls of pink frosting, cake pieces and sprinkles. Each 8-inch cake is 56 ounces and is filled with Serendipity’s superpremium ice cream; it has a suggested retail price of $24.99, the company said.
Serendipity Brands said its sundae cups are ready-to-eat and come in four flavors, including Frrrozen Hot Chocolate and Birthday Cake and new flavors Cookie Dough and Salted Caramel. An individual Serendipity sundae cup has a suggested retail price of $2.99.
“The two new products are just the beginning, as we look to the future to continue expanding the reach of the brand,” said Sal Pesce, president of Serendipity Brands.
In addition to the new products, Serendipity also unveiled three new flavors available in pints — Very Cherry Chunk, Dulce de Leche and Salty Caramel Pretzel. These new flavor options join the company’s original eight pint flavors, which can now be found at participating retailers nationwide.
