Bubbies Homemade Ice Cream & Desserts, Aiea, Hawaii, is bringing its longtime seasonal-favorite mochi ice cream flavor — Pumpkin — back to stores this month. Also new to the company’s lineup is decadent Salted Caramel mochi ice cream, which will remain available year-round, Bubbies said.
Bite-sized Bubbies mochi ice cream is sweetened rice dough carefully wrapped around premium ice cream. All varieties contain 100 or fewer calories, the company said.
“We create truly authentic flavor experiences that bring to life the aspects of pumpkin pie that people love, down to the perfectly spiced ice cream filling,” said Rick Schaffer, CEO of Bubbies Ice Cream. “Bubbies mochi ice cream uses the highest quality of ingredients and [is] made to require less powdery flour on the outside than other brands.”
Limited-edition Pumpkin is sold at select grocery stores and has a suggested retail price of $6.99 per 7.5-ounce box. Both Pumpkin and Salted Caramel also are available in self-serve coolers throughout the United States for $2.00 per individual mochi piece, Bubbies said.
