V&V Supremo, a Chicago-based Mexican cheese and chorizo producer and maker of the Chihuahua brand of quesadilla cheese, said it is declaring Sept. 25th National Quesadilla Day. The company is celebrating National Quesadilla Day by giving back to the community with Chicago restaurant specials, a food truck tour and more.
On Sept. 25, for the first time ever, V&V Supremo will be hitting the road to give away free authentic Chihuahua brand cheese quesadillas to Chicago. Food truck locations will be added here.
In addition, participating Chicago restaurants will be offering National Quesadilla Day Specials to support a local nonprofit transforming the Hispanic community, United Neighborhood Organization (UNO), the company said. For each consumer who tags the participating restaurant and @vvsupremo in his or her photo using #NationalQuesadillaDay, V&V Supremo will donate $1 to UNO, up to $10,000 total. Participating restaurants can be found here.
