The National Ice Cream Mix Association (NICMA), Arlington, Va., said it elected new leadership during its annual meeting, which was held Jan. 14-17 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Bob Kmetz, general manager of Prairie Farms Dairy in Granite City, Ill., will head the organization for the next two years. He succeeds Pat Galloway of Classic Mix Partners LLC, Neenah, Wis.
The new vice president of NICMA is David Catalana, vice president of sales for Cumberland Dairy Inc., Rosenhayn, N.J. Ron Mong, senior manager/dairy consulting for Herbein + Company in Reading, Pa., was re-elected treasurer, NICMA said.
In addition, the NICMA board of directors elected two members, each for a three-year term: Ted Galloway, general manager of Classic Mix Partners LLC; and Joe Duscher, chief operating officer of Upstate Niagara Cooperative Inc., Buffalo, N.Y.
NICMA said it also welcomed three companies to its membership: St. Albans Cooperative Creamery, St. Albans, Vt.; Titusville Dairy Products Co., Titusville, Pa..; and Culver’s, Prairie du Sac, Wis.
