The Sidel Matrix SL70 labeler has a compact footprint and can be installed in various configurations. It can run up to 60,000 bottles per hour, and it is suitable for very thin wrap-around plastic labels on PET, HDPE, glass or can containers of up to 5 liters with diameters ranging from 40 millimeters to 140 millimeters. The equipment requires 40% less maintenance, allows for 30% faster changeover times and produces 40% more output compared to previous machine generations, said the company. By handling thinner labels and extremely lightweight PET bottles, it can also reduce energy consumption by 40% and glue consumption by 15%.
