The Dannon Co., White Plains, N.Y., and Ahold USA’s family of grocery stores announced that tiramisu was the winning flavor in the Dannon Light & Fit Great Greek flavor search contest. The suggestion was submitted by Boston-area preschool teacher Keri J.
Ahold USA, the parent company of Stop & Shop, teamed up with Dannon to offer people an opportunity to submit their favorite flavors to become the next product in Dannon’s Light & Fit Greek yogurt line.
Light & Fit Great Greek Flavor Search winner Keri J. submitted her favorite dessert, tiramisu, to the contest. Keri’s winning suggestion led to this week’s introduction of Light & Fit Tiramisu-flavored Greek nonfat yogurt. The yogurt contains 12 grams of protein and 80 calories per 5.3-ounce.
The new flavor is available for a limited time at all Stop & Shop retailers.
