Evolve, Jamaica, N.Y., introduced Evolve Greek Kefir, the first-ever spoonable Greek kefir. The new Greek Kefir is available in four natural flavors:

  • Strawberry – Low-fat kefir with strawberries on the bottom.
  • Peach – Low-fat kefir featuring chunks of real peach on the bottom.
  • Blueberry – Low-fat kefir with blueberries on the bottom.
  • Plain – Made with low-fat milk.

The kefir is made with 1% low-fat cultured milk that is naturally high in probiotics. Made with 12 premium cultures, the new line packs double the protein of regular yogurt and more bacteria per serving, according to the company. Each serving has 2% the daily value of protein.

It’s sold for a suggested retail price of $1.99 per 5.3-ounce container. The cultured dairy product hit select traditional and natural grocery store shelves in the New York metro area in May.
