The Dairy Business Association today announced the full slate of speakers for its largest annual event, which will be held Jan. 16-18 at the KI Center in Green Bay, Wis.

The Wisconsin Dairy Products Association, the event’s host, said this year’s event will be even more special because it coincides with the association’s 50th anniversary.

Themed ‘New. Now. Next.’, the event will take place Jan. 23-26 in Palm Desert, Calif.

The International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) said Dairy Forum will be back “live and in person” in 2022 and that registration for the event opens July 28.
This year’s event has a new name and an all-outdoors format.

The Wisconsin Dairy Products Association (WDPA), Middleton, Wis., said its 2020 Dairy Symposium is being modified due to COVID-19’s lingering grip on the country.
In a May 6 letter to Wisconsin Dairy Product Association (WDPA) members, WDPA Executive Director Brad Legreid said the association’s board decided to reschedule the 2020 Dairy Symposium because of the coronavirus crisis.
All active conference registrations and sponsorships will be transferred to the 2021 events.

In an email to International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) members, Michael Dykes, D.V.M., IDFA’s president and CEO, said the association made “the difficult decision” to cancel the Ice Cream Technology and Yogurt & Cultured Dairy conferences for 2020.

The Institute of Food Technologists announced that it will transition the IFT20 Annual Event and Food Expo, slated for July 12-15 at McCormick Place in Chicago, to a virtual event experience.
The conference will be held Sept. 6-9, 2020, in Dublin.

Organizers of the 9th International Whey Conference (IWC2020) — the European Whey Processors Association (EWPA), Brussels, and the Elmhurst, Ill.-based American Dairy Products Institute (ADPI) — said March 27 is the deadline to submit abstracts for the conference.
Due to concerns related to the coronavirus outbreak, Dairy Foods magazine and the American Dairy Products Institute said they postponed the Membrane Technology Forum.
