Chobani LLC, New Berlin, N.Y., announced a $1 million gift to the University of Idaho-led Center for Agriculture, Food and the Environment (Idaho CAFE) to help fund construction of the nation’s largest research dairy and advance scientific research to ensure a sustainable future for the U.S. dairy industry.
The new USDEC facility solidifies the U.S. dairy industry’s in-region base, elevating a customer-centric, innovation-driven approach to collaboratively seize ‘future-of-food’ opportunities.

The U.S. Dairy Export Council (USDEC), Arlington, Va., said it unveiled the start of an exciting new chapter for its presence in Southeast Asia on Oct. 21 with a virtual event officially launching the new U.S. Center for Dairy Excellence (U.S. CDE).
The new R&D facility includes the ability to work on and test ready-to-drink beverages, yogurts, ready-to-mix products, ice cream, protein bars and more.
