Perfect Day, a leading precision fermentation innovator and supplier, has partnered with Unilever's Breyers, a family favorite since 1866, to launch Breyers Lactose-Free Chocolate made with Perfect Day's dairy protein from fermentation. 

The flavors are exclusively sold at Whole Foods locations nationwide beginning Nov.16.

The expansion includes dairy-free yogurt alternatives, non-dairy cheese alternatives and non-dairy frozen desserts to support a balanced, plant-forward diet at an accessible price, the company stated.

Unilever Ice Cream brands recently launched new innovations from Magnum and Talenti that range from delicious gelato and sorbetto bars and indulgent treats filled with caramel goodness to new dairy-free offerings made with oat milk and cashew butter as well as a whole suite of mouth-watering frozen desserts.
