Net sales were $46.1 million for the third quarter ended September 30, 2024, an increase of $5.2 million or 12.7% from the same period in 2023. The net sales increase was primarily driven by higher volumes of our branded drinkable kefir.
DFA’s net sales totaled $24.5 billion for 2022, compared to $19.3 billion in 2021, a year over year (YoY) increase of $5.2 billion or 26.8%.

DFA continued to expand its commercial investments in 2022. The Cooperative acquired two
extended shelf-life (ESL) beverage processing facilities, located in Richmond, Ind., and Pacific, Mo.,
from SmithFoods.
The earnings were helped by the acquisition of the remaining 50% equity interest in DairiConcepts, a manufacturer of cheese, dairy ingredients and dairy flavor systems.

The dairy cooperative Dairy Farmers of America said 2016 sales fell 2% to $13.5 billion as net income rose 40% to $38 million. The retail and fluid milk/ice cream divisions also grew.
Canada delivered solid growth with chocolate and ice cream for Nestle. Danone’s U.S. market share is 36%.

Nestle reported sales increased to CHF 65.5 billion for the first nine months of the year. Danone also reported that sales increased through three quarters of 2016.
