Wisconsin companies that enter a new cow’s milk dairy product in the 2021 World Dairy Expo Championship Dairy Product Contest will receive from DFW a 50% reimbursement on the $60 contest entry fee.

The Wisconsin Dairy Products Association (WDPA), sponsor of the annual World Dairy Expo Championship Dairy Product Contest, said it is continuing an agreement with Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin (DFW) regarding contest entries.
All entry forms must be mailed to the Wisconsin Dairy Products Association by July 25.

Entry forms for the World Dairy Expo Championship Dairy Product Contest have been sent out to dairy plants in North America. This contest, sponsored by the Wisconsin Dairy Products Association, is the only dairy product contest of its kind in North America.
Dairy Foods sponsored the Grade A Champion trophy, won by Upstate Niagara, Buffalo, N.Y., for its sour-cream-based Bison Dill Dip. Ag Source purchased the dip for $1,078.

The World Dairy Expo Championship Dairy Product Contest auction raised $30,029. The contest was sponsored by the Wisconsin Dairy Products Association. A portion of the auction proceeds will be used to fund the Dr. Robert L. Bradley Scholarship, Wisconsin Dairy Products Association Scholarship, MATC Culinary Foundation Scholarship, which will be awarded annually to deserving students pursuing, careers in the dairy industry.
Top O’ The Morn Farms, Tulare, Calif., received the first place award for its reduced-fat white milk.

All of the first-place entries from the contest will be auctioned off on Tuesday, Oct. 1 during the World Dairy Expo at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison. In addition to milk, other categories included cheese, ice cream, yogurt and butter.

The registration date for the 2014 World Dairy Expo Championship Dairy Product Contest is Monday, July 22. All companies entering products in this contest must send their entry forms to Wisconsin Dairy Products Association.
