Crux Fermentation Project and Rogue Creamery debuted a new, limited-edition, lambic-style ale brewed at Rogue Creamery’s cheesemaking facility using the yeast and flora of the cheesemaker’s world champion blue cheese, Rogue River Blue.

Sartori's Reserve Black Pepper BellaVitano has been named the best cheese in the 2017 U.S. Championship Cheese Contest. First runner-up belongs to Terry Lensmire of Agropur.
A Cheddar from AMPI and a Parmesan from Sartori are honored.

A mild Cheddar from Associated Milk Producers Inc. was the best in its class at the World Dairy Expo Championship Product Contest. Sartori’s SarVecchio Parmesan was named Best USA Cheese in a global competition.
Wisconsin cheesemakers won the most medals of any state. Vermont and New York came in second among the states.

Out of a possible 100 points, Marieke Gouda scored 98.31 in the final round of judging, during which judges re-evaluated the top 16 cheeses at an evening gala to determine the overall champion.
