Three dairy processors and three dairy industry suppliers received innovation awards at the International Dairy Show.

Online voting has begun for the third Dairy Innovations Awards program by the International Dairy Foods Association.

The Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy is accepting nominations for the 2015 U.S. Dairy Sustainability Awards. The awards recognize outstanding dairy farms, businesses and partnerships for socially responsible, economically viable and environmentally sound practices. 

Joseph Gallo Farms uses energy-efficient equipment and cutting-edge technology in its cheese plant help to conserve energy and at least 2.9 billion gallons of water each year, in addition to accepting as much as 10 million gallons of stormwater and wastewater each day from local communities to use for irrigation.
