Dannon has 6 new flavors of Oikos Greek yogurt
Dannon introduced six new flavors of its Greek yogurt brand Oikos. The flavors are strawberry banana, pomegranate, blackberry, café latte flavor, orange cream flavor and banana cream flavor. The product is sold in 5.3-ounce individual cups and in multipacks.
Sargento launches 2 new pizza cheeses
Sargento headlines its FSI "give your meals the shreds they deserve." The cheesemaker shows a new Off the Block mozzarella cheese and a new Chef Blends 4 Cheese Pizzeria SKU. Readers are directed online for a Stuffed Crust Pepperoni Pizza recipe.
Merkts proclaims its Wisconsin Cheddar roots
Bel Brands' Merkts cheese spread is made with 100% real Wisconsin Cheddar. The headline over a cup of cheese asks "Does he consider a football jersey his 'Sunday best?'" The answer, according to the FSI is "yup, he's a Merkts man." The company's website offers recipes.
Nestle Carnation ties into 'game day'
"Game day just got tastier" states the FSI for Nestle Carnation evaporated milks. The marketer provides a recipe for Baked Potato Casserole that calls for evaporated milk, light sour cream, cheddar cheese and other ingredients. - Saputo Cheese's CheeseHeads Superstring string cheese brand touts the increased levels of Vitamin D (20% more than regular string cheese) and vitamin A (16% more) and makes the claim that the foods are an "excellent source of calcium." Superstring Swirls is a new product.
- Mountain High yogurt states "get lots of protein at a great price." With 10 grams per serving, the yogurt "is just like many Greek yogurts except it won't cost you a bundle," according to the FSI.
