For the most part, dairy brands were quiet in this week's free-standing inserts. Just two cheesemakers took FSIs.
Dairy Farmers of America launched its Borden smoked Cheddar singles, under the headline "Introduce your burger to bigger, smokier flavors." Borden also has a Pepperjack flavor.
The FSI notes "100% of our proceeds go back to American dairy farm families" because the cheese is made by "a 100% farmer-owned cooperative." In addition to a 75-cents off coupon on any Borden Singles Sensation SKU, the FSI includes Facebook and Twitter logos. Readers are also instructed to learn more at FriendsOfElsie.com.
Land O' Lakes asks readers to "try our tastiest slice" of four cheese Italian blend (consisting of Asiago, Parmesan, Romano and American) "at your local deli." A quick-response code links to a website for more information. Facebook and Twitter logos are also shown.
