“A person's a person, no matter how small,” says Dr. Seuss.
That’s why we must all do our part in taking care of the small ones in our life — the children.
Stonyfield Farm is certainly doing its part to offer children a healthy yet tasty way to enjoy yogurt with its newly released YoKids Greek yogurt.
According to the Londonderry, N.H.-based processor, YoKids Greek yogurt is billed as the first organic Greek yogurt designed specifically to please kids' "choosy palates" (mild taste and no "puckering tang"). It comes in four-packs in raspberry and strawberry flavors with a suggested retail price of $2.89.
To further its support of children, Stonyfield announced tie-ins with "Dr. Seuss' The Lorax," a 3D movie from Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment released March 2.
On the Lorax movie front, children can visit YoKidsYogurt.com to engage with the movie's characters, read tips about taking care of the planet and play a movie-themed game. Meanwhile, parents can sign up to receive coupons, seed packets and enter a sweeps that offers prizes, such as a private screening of the film and a community garden.
YoKids is also launching its own Facebook page, which will kick off by offering a sweeps to win coupons and grand prizes of up to $2,000 worth of organic groceries. The Facebook page will feature information about "organic, kid-centric topics" and healthy lunch ideas.
“I am the Lorax. I speak for the trees.” That’s okay because Stonyfield will speak for the children.
