It’s not everyday that the French get recognized for their cheese. But, thanks to the “Flavor for All” campaign, French Brie is taking home the honors.
That’s because DCI Cheese Co., Richfield, Wis., unveiled this enter-to-win contest sponsored by Joan of Arc, the company’s imported French cheese brand. One grand prize winner will receive an all-inclusive weekend getaway along with a $2,000 Visa gift card.
How it works is, consumers can find in-store shelf talkers with tear pads featuring a coupon for Joan of Arc cheeses, available in participating retailers throughout Feb. 1–March 31. Additionally, consumers with smart phones can connect directly to www.JoanofArcBrie.com via the promotional display’s QR code to access the online entry form or to view recipes and wine pairings.
Joan of Arc is the oldest trademarked brand of French Brie available in the United States and features a savory, buttery, rich and earthy taste that is said to work well in hors d'oeuvres, appetizers or as a dessert. Joan of Arc also offers other French favorites such as Camembert, Coulommiers, Goat Brie, soft Chèvre and Roquefort.
“Joan of Arc cheeses are part of a rich tradition of fine French cheesemaking,” says Katie Jury, marketing manager. “The Joan of Arc brand features a wide range of flavorful solutions for entertaining. This provided a very natural segue into a weekend of entertainment for one lucky winner in this contest.”
