The FPA will begin celebrating this milestone at its 2025 Annual Meeting, which will take place March 5-7, 2025, in Miami, Florida.

PMMI’s commitment goes beyond financial aid. The association is actively working to support its members as they navigate the aftermath of these wildfires, ensuring they have the resources and assistance needed to recover and rebuild.

The dairy industry has seen significant innovation over recent decades, particularly in packaging. Traditional packaging methods, which often require refrigeration and have limited shelf life, have largely been supplemented, or even replaced, by aseptic and extended shelf life (ESL) technologies. 

The Denton, Texas site, roughly 40 miles north of Dallas, serves as headquarters for Tetra Pak U.S. and Canada and consists of approximately 725 team members, each of whom contribute to a rich and diverse workplace culture. 

PACK EXPO International 2024, the world’s largest packaging and processing trade show, saw record attendance this year, according to show producer, PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies. 

The new facility, slated for completion in mid-2025, will expand the company’s floor space by 60%, and it will now be the largest manufacturing facility in Carol Stream, Ill., according to Frain.

This annual scholarship, sponsored by PMMI member company Garvey Corp. and established in memory of Mark C. Garvey, honors students who exemplify leadership, academic excellence, and a dedication to advancing the packaging industry. Garvey’s passion for education and industry innovation continues to inspire future generations through this award.

While the growth rate is projected to slow to 2.5% in 2024, the 2025 forecast calls for an upturn in growth rates to reach a high of 8.0% in 2027. This slowdown in 2024 is expected to be the next low point in the industry’s usual peak-to-trough sales cycle, typically lasting three to five years.
