The Kroger Co., Cincinnati, announced the second year of its Go Fresh & Local Supplier Accelerator, a program designed to enhance and accelerate the selection of local items sold in Kroger-owned stores.
The company also will donate 100,000 servings of milk throughout the year to food banks.

Shamrock Farms, a Phoenix-based, family-owned dairy company, said it is celebrating 100 years of delivering handcrafted farm-fresh milk and dairy to families locally in Arizona and nationwide.

The Arlington, Va.-based U.S. Dairy Export Council (USDEC) and the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), San José, Costa Rica, renewed their partnership to bolster cooperation and collaboration between the two groups to promote and harmonize science-based regulations across food and agriculture trade policies.
The shelf-stable creamer also was used in the checkoff-created Pineapple Whip Freeze and Island Berry Freeze beverages that previously appeared on Taco Bell’s menu.
