Newsline: Dairy Distribution Conference Back on the Routes
The Dairy Distribution and Fleet Management Conference will return in 2007.
"I am extremely pleased and excited to announce the DDC is back and working on the 37th anniversary conference program for 2007," said Don Wilson, DDC's managing principal. "That has been made possible by the efforts and vision of an outstanding group of dairy and ice cream industry leaders, scattered from coast to coast, who would not accept the DDC's demise."
The 2007 conference will take place in late February or March in the San Antonio area. The vocational tour will visit H.E.B.'s new 108,000 sq. ft., state of the art, central fleet maintenance facility.
Wilson said 10 companies have stepped forward to underwrite the 2007 and 2008 conferences. Dairy Foods will be a co-sponsor of the event. Watch for more details in Dairy Foods or visit www.dairydistributionconf.com.
