The Healthy School Milk Commitment has led to a reduction of added sugar levels by 10% in flavored school milk between the 2023 and 2024 school years, according to the International Dairy Foods Association (IFDA).

The Add Milk! program operating in Meijer stores provides an automatic 40% discount to SNAP participants to purchase non-fat and low-fat (1%) milk, including lactose-free options. The program is operating in all Meijer stores in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin.
