The Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association (WCMA) said seven current and future dairy industry professionals were selected to receive a total of $19,000 in scholarship funds in 2022.
Eleven scholarships worth $2,500 each will be awarded, in addition to a $3,500 James H. Loper Jr. Memorial Scholarship to one outstanding recipient.

The Food Processing Suppliers Association’s (FPSA) Dairy Council said it awarded three $3,500 scholarships that will be used toward completing the winners’ respective degrees within the dairy or food science disciplines.
The cooperative’s scholarship committee identified 44 students, who will receive a total of $63,000.

Dairy Farmers of America (DFA), Kansas City, Kan., said it recognizes the importance of developing future leaders in the dairy industry and is committed to investing in their education.
The $3,500 scholarship was created in late 2020 by the FPSA Dairy Council and is named in memory of founding council member and former publisher of Dairy Foods magazine, Tom Imbordino.

The Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) said it opened the application period for the inaugural Tom Imbordino Memorial Dairy Science Scholarship to deserving students studying dairy or food sciences at universities throughout North America.
The Phillip Tong Educational Scholarship will join the Jim Page Memorial Scholarship as an annual scholarship available through ADPI’s scholarship program.
