Dairy Foods asks the dairy industry to help it select the 2016 Plant of the Year. We have nominated 12 dairy processing plants that manufacture fluid milk, ice cream, yogurt, cheese and other dairy and nondairy products.
Kroger's milk plant in Denver was one of 11 facilities nominated for our Plant of the Year award. More than 5,200 votes were cast on dairyfoods.com. Dairy Foods will present the award at the International Dairy Show in Chicago in September.
Mountain View Foods processes fresh conventional and organic milk in half-gallons and gallons and it packages aseptically processed milk, creams and juices in quarts and smaller bottles.

The Kroger Co.’s Mountain View Foods plant in Denver is the 2015 Plant of the Year. It was one of 11 plants nominated. More than 5,100 votes were cast on dairyfoods.com.
The 11 nominated plants produce a range of dairy products, including milk, cheese, yogurt, ice cream, frozen desserts and nondairy beverages.

Smith Brothers Farms, a fluid milk processor, has been selected to receive the Plant of the Year award from Dairy Foods. Its plant was one of 12 dairy processing plants throughout the United States nominated by Dairy Foods.
13 dairy processing plants were nominated. The winner was determined by visitors' votes on dairyfoods.com.
