Agropur named Jean-François Dubé senior vice president, operations, who will continue efforts to increase efficiency and reliability across Agropur’s 29 production facilities in Canada and the United States.
In his new role, Dubé will lead Agropur’s operations transformation, which includes stabilizing Agropur’s operations, ensuring consistent execution, delivering targeted growth and reinforcing a culture of excellence.
A member of Agropur’s Senior Management Committee, Dubé came to the cooperative from the aerospace industry in 2017 to serve as vice president, Health and Safety, and later as vice president, manufacturing, Cheese and Ingredients Canada. He most recently served as vice president, Strategic Initiatives and Organizational Transformation, and led a team that laid the groundwork for optimization and reducing the costs of Agropur’s activities.
Agropur is Canada’s largest dairy cooperative. Founded in 1938, the Cooperative has 3,000 members in Quebec, Ontario, and the Atlantic provinces, and close to 7,500 employees. Agropur generated sales of over $8.2 billion CAD in 2023 and processed more than 6.6 billion liters of milk.
