The Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA) Transportation announced three new board of directors. Board members are volunteer leaders and responsible for governing, developing policy, and setting a course for the future. The Board focuses on advancing the mission, vision, and strategic goals of the organization.
The 2024 GCCA Transportation Board is led by Don Durm from PLM Fleet, as Chairman; Richard Patenaude from Congebec as Vice Chairman; and Robert Fay from Florida Freezer as Treasurer. Todd Lanter from Lineage serves as Immediate Past Chairman.
For the GCCA Transportation Directors-at-large positions, the following three individuals recently joined the Board and started serving their three-year teams effective immediately.
• Mike O’Brien, president, Eagle Air Freight, Massachusetts, United States
• Roel Smets, chief operating officer, Group-GTS, Geel, Belgium
• Kris Verbruggen, CEO-managing director, Frigo Logistics, Znin, Poland
