Dannon Light + Fit is taking action to address some obstacles women face, "because when we raise women up, everyone benefits."
In honor of International Women’s Day, Light + Fit will be unveiling two initiatives.
On March 6, Light + Fight will be announcing its Empowering Women Artist Series packs, featuring the work of entrepreneurial female artist, Camila Rose, as part of its first pack in the series.
Rose is a Brazilian artist and illustrator based in Brooklyn, N.Y., who has used the packaging as her canvas to highlight the strength of women everywhere.
The packs will be available on shelves at select retailers nationwide for $3.99 per 4-pack.
Alongside the Empowering Women Artist Series packs, Light + Fit will be announcing the Dannon Light + Fit x FFC Grant Program with the Female Founder Collective, an organization helping female entrepreneurs around the globe grow their business through community, resources, and education.
“We could not be more excited to launch the Empowering Women Artist Series packs and the Dannon Light + Fit x FFC Grant Program just in time for Women’s History Month. Light + Fit’s commitment to driving economic opportunity for women is integral to our identity as a brand – we are looking forward to empowering women through our programs, partnerships, and even packaging, this month and beyond," said Jessica Grance, senior director of marketing at Danone.
The grant program will provide five creative female entrepreneurs with a $10,000 grant and a yearlong membership to the Female Founder Collective’s 10th House program that will provide them with resources, tools and mentorship that will help them grow their business. Applications will be open on March 8.
