PPG appointed Ethan Schneider as the global beverage segment manager of its Packaging Coatings business. Schneider will drive the global beverage segment strategy to ensure growth and continued customer success. He succeeds Robyn McMillan, who is retiring from PPG at the end of the month after 34 years of distinguished service.
"We are thrilled to welcome Ethan to the Packaging Coatings team," said Jason Boast, PPG director of segments and strategic initiatives, Packaging Coatings. "With his impressive track record and diverse expertise, he is well-positioned to lead our global segment strategy and strengthen our customer and industry partnerships."
In his role, Schneider will develop and implement near and long-term strategic segment plans, including aligning and prioritizing the product portfolio, technical capabilities, production capacities, cross-region projects, and market needs to the global strategy.
Schneider has worked at PPG for more than six years in various roles in the Architectural Coatings business in the U.S. and Canada across multiple product lines and customer segments. He has most recently driven growth and spearheaded an innovative roadmap for PPG’s adhesives and sealants products.
Before joining PPG, Schneider worked in marketing and strategic consulting. He earned a bachelor’s degree in quantitative economics and international relations from Tufts University in Medford, Mass.
