Nutritional Growth Solutions Ltd. is rolling out its Healthy Heights KidzProtein range to an initial 403 select Walmart stores across the United States. Available in Chocolate and Vanilla powders, KidzProtein nutritional shakes contain whey protein and a full array of vitamins and minerals demonstrated to support optimal childhood growth and development, the Tel Aviv, Israel-based company says.
The shakes, which contain 10 grams of protein per serving, blend fruit and vegetables as well as omega-3 fatty acids crucial for brain and cognitive function. The company points out that the recent infant formula shortage in the United States has inadvertently opened the door for emerging brands and products as store buyers are calling for items to be replenished.
“Parents are looking for easy and convenient options to fill in nutritional gaps especially when their child is a picky eater or super active or simply to support everyday wellness,” explains Liron Fendell, CEO and managing director for Nutritional Growth Solutions. “KidzProtein shakes are a great option. When the nutritional profiles of the formulas were set by our pediatricians, they reviewed global data regarding nutritional deficiencies most common in children to determine the optimal levels of vitamins and minerals. We created our KidzProtein range to support the unique nutritional needs of children.”
The products’ composition of macro and micronutrients offers parents a 2-in-1 solution for nourishing younger children between the ages of 2-10. Parents can mix the powder in a half a cup of milk or water for a hearty nutritional boost during breakfast or as a snack, or it can be sneakily added into smoothies, muffins and pancakes for picky eaters struggling with appetite issues or those who need an added boost to meet nutritional needs.
KidzProtein Chocolate and Vanilla powders are available in 9.5-ounce containers for a suggested retail price of $19.99, while the Strawberry flavor can be purchased online at Walmart.
