Dairy Foods is seeking nominations for the 2022 Tom Camerlo Exporter of the Year award. U.S.-based dairy processors that export dairy foods, beverages, or ingredients are eligible to enter the annual awards program.
Processors may nominate themselves or other processors. In addition, suppliers, consultants, association executives, and others allied with the dairy industry may submit nominations. The deadline for nominations is Aug. 16.
The award is sponsored by the U.S. Dairy Export Council (USDEC) and is named for the council’s former chairman. The Exporter of the Year will be the subject of a feature article in the November issue of Dairy Foods magazine. Dairy Foods will present the award during the annual business meeting of USDEC.
The award is named after the late Tom Camerlo, who, among other industry leadership positions, served multiple terms as chairman of the U.S. Dairy Export Council’s board of directors.
