Chicago-based Fairlife LLC, in partnership with Boardwalk Frozen Treats LLC, unveiled two new indulgent light ice cream flavors: Dark Cherry Chunk and Caramel Toffee Crunch. The lactose-free ice cream is made from Fairlife’s ultra-filtered milk, delivering a rich, creamy taste with a nutritional profile that won’t make you feel like you’re compromising, the company says.
Fairlife’s new Dark Cherry Chunk features cherry and vanilla light ice cream mixed with dark cherry pieces and chocolate chunks, the company says, and includes 8 grams of high-quality protein and 45% less sugar than traditional ice cream. The new Caramel Toffee Crunch flavor features vanilla light ice cream with chocolatey coated toffee pieces and a sea salt caramel swirl and boasts 9 grams of protein per serving and 45% less sugar than traditional ice cream.
Fairlife says its new flavors delivers on the creamy, delicious flavor fans have come to expect from the brand. Dark Cherry Chunk and Caramel Toffee Crunch join Fairlife’s portfolio of seven additional lactose-free ice cream flavors, including Cookie Dough, Butter Pecan, Cookies & Cream, Double Fudge Brownie, Mint Chip, Chocolate and Vanilla. Depending on the flavor, each pint has between 8 and 10 grams of high-quality protein and a minimum of 30% less sugar than traditional ice cream.
Fairlife light ice cream 14-ounce pints can be found at select grocery chains, including Meijer, Publix, Albertsons, Safeway and Walmart.
