Halo Top, a brand of Wells Enterprises Inc., Le Mars, Iowa, said it released new, bigger Halo Top Pops — a convenient and creamy line of frozen treats — in grocery freezer aisles nationwide. The Pops are a protein-packed ice cream treat, made with creamy ultrafiltered skim milk, in an easy-to-enjoy form. Additionally, they have only 100 to 110 calories per novelty — fewer calories than regular ice cream.

"We believe you shouldn't have to choose between pursuing wellness and enjoying a full, balanced life," said Meg Graeff, senior brand manager, Halo Top. "Halo Top Pops allow for flexibility and a moment of sweet satisfaction in our fans' demanding lives."

Halo Top said its Pops flavor lineup includes Brownie Batter, which is a new variety for the brand. It features the rich, chocolaty flavor of a classic baked good in frozen pop form, with chocolate light ice cream and swirls of real brownie batter.

The novelties also come in the previously released flavors Mint Chip and Sea Salt Caramel. Mint Chip is mint light ice cream and an added crunch from dark chocolate chips. Sea Salt Caramel is a mix of velvety brown butter light ice cream and swirls of caramel that packs a salty punch in pop form, Halo Top said.

According to Halo Top, the offerings have a suggested retail price of $5.99 for a box of five 3.5-fluid-ounce novelties.
