Brothers Ice Cream, Santa Ana, Calif., launched two brownie ice cream sandwiches and new packaging at the 2019 Natural Products Expo West. Brothers said the new products and packaging were created to bring back nostalgia for the 1970s, which is when the company was founded.
The 3.5-ounce sandwiches come in Vanilla Fudge Swirl and Mint Chocolate Chip flavors. They are made of a generous serving of Brothers ultra-premium ice cream sandwiched between two brownie cookies and contain only 140 calories. Brothers said its products are made with real California milk and use all-natural ingredients.
In addition to the new offerings, Brothers Ice Cream is also launching all-new packaging for its classic ice cream BonBons, Italian spumoni and Chocolate Chip Cookie ice cream sandwiches; the packaging pays homage to the company’s retro 1970s roots.
“After years of manufacturing and co-packing for so many great brands, we are excited to bring our own line of Brothers Ice Cream products to the general public,” said Gary Winkler, founder of Brothers Ice Cream. “We stand behind every product that we make; they are all made with real California milk, modern flavors and are fortified with pure nostalgia.”
The ice cream sandwiches are available in four-packs, 10-packs and 12-packs. The suggested retail price for the four-packs ranges from $4.49 to $4.99.
