My/Mo Mochi Ice Cream to launch triple-layer frozen treats
The new treats will come in four flavor combinations.
My/Mo Mochi Ice Cream, Los Angeles, created a line of frozen triple-layer treats that will be rolling out in grocery retailers nationwide in early 2019. The frozen products feature the company’s traditional pillowy mochi dough exterior wrapped around premium ice cream, but also have a new “taste-bud-tantalizing” center layer. The new lineup comes in four flavor combinations, including Chocolate Sundae (premium vanilla bean ice cream covered in chocolate-flavored mochi dough “topped” with a cherry center), Chocolate Peanut Butter (premium chocolate ice cream surrounded by sweet mochi dough and a center of peanut butter delight), Vanilla Blueberry (vanilla bean ice cream wrapped with sweet mochi dough with a surprise blueberry center) and Dulce de Leche (sweet mochi dough wrapped around creamy coffee ice cream with a center of caramel). The Vanilla Blueberry variety has 100 calories, 2.5 grams of fat, 13 grams of sugar and 1 gram of protein per serving (1.5-ounce piece). The treats will retail in six-count boxes.
