San Diego-based Arctic Zero expanded its portfolio with a light ice cream. The line was created to address consumer demand for low-calorie ice cream with clean ingredients, the company said. The ice cream is available in seven flavors, including toffee crunch, cookie & brownie dough, cookies & cream and chocolate chunk. The chocolate chunk flavor contains 90 calories, 2.5 grams of fat, 11 grams of sugar and 2 grams of protein per 1/2-cup serving. The ice cream is non-GMO and contains no sugar alcohols. It’s available nationwide in various stores and retails for $5.99 per pint.
