Oui by Yoplait, a brand of Minneapolis-based General Mills, released a smaller version of its French-style yogurts that are sold in glass pots. The Oui Petites are sold in pairs of 3.5-ounce glass pots and are available in four flavors: sea salt caramel, chocolate with shavings, dark chocolate raspberry and caramelized apple.
Petites are made using the same cup-set technique as Oui by Yoplait, using simple non-GMO ingredients such as whole milk, cane sugar and yogurt cultures that are mixed together and poured into individual glass pots. They are then left to set for eight hours, which helps create the yogurt's unique, thick and creamy texture, the company said.
The yogurts also contain no artificial preservatives, no artificial flavors and no colors from artificial sources. The sea salt caramel flavor contains 120 calories, 4.5 grams of fat, 15 grams of sugar and 3 grams of protein per 3.5-ounce container.
Oui Petites are available in major grocery and retail stores nationwide. All flavors are sold in packs of two with a suggested retail price of $2.39.
