Linda Zimmer, co-founder and chief financial officer of Caloris Engineering, Easton, Md., retired from the company effective May 11, 2018.
The company said Zimmer — along with her husband, Artur Zimmer, the current Caloris chief technology officer; Daniel Neth, engineering manager; and Barry McFarland, senior process engineer — helped found Caloris in 2006.
"Caloris and I personally thank Linda for the tremendous amount of leadership she has provided the company over the past nearly 12 years," said Caloris President and CEO Jim Peterson. "She has been one of the foundations of Caloris and leaves an indelible mark on day-to-day operations."
Zimmer will stay involved by retaining her seat on the company’s board, Caloris said.
